I like to keep the stock connectors on for air flow meters as well, for the same reasons as the injectors. If you ever have to swap back to stock, you've got that option by simply untaping the connector and hooking it up. I strip the wires back with a pair of dikes. (diagonal cutters) 
Here's the instructions that came with the aftermarket MAF connector Matt bought. If you don't have this nifty connector, refer to the chart at the bottom of the page for pinout. 
After a little translation, this is what we've got here: Harness - Connector Black/White - Red (Power) Black - Black (Ground) White - Yellow (Signal) The connector's purple wire goes to a chassis ground. There is a nice ground right behind the headlight there. 
We used to 80mm to 70mm reducer grommet and a 70mm pipe to connect to the stock intake hose. This took some work to put in, as the stock hose is not 70mm, its like 65mm or something. 
FINALLY! Thats sucker is in there.

Wiring Chart for those with stock Z32 connector: Z32 MAF Pin - SR20DET Stock Engine Harness Pin B - White Wire (MAF Signal) Pin C - Chassis Ground (Connect this to any ground on the chassis) Pin D - Black Wire (Harness Ground) Pin E - Black/White Wire (Power)
