In this article, I will go over the basics of installing an OS Giken Twin Plate Clutch into a 180sx with SR20DET.

Here is a brand new TS2B clutch. As you can see, the flywheel is integrated into the clutch system.

Removing the clutch cover - I prefer to use an allen head socket for this stuff, as using a regular allen wrench is a pain in the ass.

Here is the outer pressure plate. Ensure the smooth side contacts the disc.

With the pressure plate laid to the side (upside down on the cover) you can now see the rear clutch disc.
I like to mark each piece to remind me exactly where it goes. If you dissasemble a used clutch, you must put the parts back in the direction they came out, or it will slip. The front and rear discs are interchangable, and the center plate can be flipped. As they break in, all three warp together. If you switch one of them around, they do not fully contact eachother anymore. My solution is to mark them on install, and you never have to worry about this again.

Here you can see I used a permanent marker to write rear on the rear disc. I only mark one side, the side facing me as I put it in, to ensure I install everything in the right direction.

Here is the center plate, marked with a 'C' out on the tab, where it won't get rubbed off.

And the front disc... you will notice it is identical to the rear disc, but flipped in the other direction.
