OS Giken Twin Plate Clutch Install

Like a bunch of idiots, we went ahead and started installing the flywheel without the gasket.
(I do this more often than not)

Here we're using Loctite on the flywheel bolts.
Be sure to use some thread locking on these, you do not want them coming loose!

Here we're laying the front disc in place.
Make note of the location of the slots in it.

Now the center plate.

Next, the rear disc goes in.
Notice the slots are offset 45 degrees from the front disc.

Now put we put in the rear pressure plate.
Notice the tabs are offset in the slots on the clutch frame (birdcage)

Now we put on the clutch cover.
Just put in a couple bolts to hold it while you grab the alignment tool.

Now we insert the alignment tool and align the clutch nice and straight.
Start putting in the clutch cover bolts, and be sure to tighten them in a circular pattern like lug nuts.

Since we forgot the large gasket, we had to bend it and slip it over the flywheel.
This is a pain in the ass. Be sure to put it on first!

On to the final page...
